Omega-3 脂肪酸與皮膚

Omega -3 多不飽和脂肪酸在維持正常皮膚的功能和外觀起了關鍵作用。Omega -3 多不飽和脂肪酸產生強效信號傳遞分子,稱為類二十烷酸 (Eicosanoids),影響皮膚的炎症反應,而炎症反應正是皮膚老化的主要原因之一。 多攝取 Omega-3 多元不飽和脂肪酸可減少紫外線引起的皮膚傷害、皮膚老化、敏感、暗瘡的現象。

部份護膚品中,都加入 omega 成份(如omega6、9),以塗抹的方式,也能有效令皮膚表皮層 Omega 多不飽和脂肪酸含量增加,有效改善皮膚水分流失,減少發炎反應(如濕疹、牛皮癣、敏感等問題)。

食用和塗抹都是有效令皮膚增加 Omega 多不飽和脂肪酸的方法。食用 Omega 可將營養經血液帶到全身皮膚,塗抹則主要令 Omega-3 多不飽和脂肪酸留在塗抹位置的皮膚表皮層。食用 Omega-3 對全面健康有益,如減低心血管疾病風險、減少糖尿病風險、幫助減少抑鬱症風險等等。塗抹的 Omega-3 主要有益皮膚健康。

研究顯示,食用凝膠狀的 Omega-3 比食用膠囊 Omega3,身體吸收率高 3.5-5 倍 。建議每天最少攝取 1g 的Omega-3。(有醫生建議可加至每日 3g.),與食物一起食用。
